Features & Benefits ▾

24 TeraFlex® G.657.A1 bend-resistant singlemode fibers
Integrated 24 AWG copper toneable wire for cable location
PFM™ gel-filled central loose tube for moisture protection
Parallel dielectric strength members provide tensile and crush protection
Non-armored, UV-resistant flat-drop construction
Suitable for aerial and direct-buried FTTP drop routes
Sequential footage and meter markings simplify measurement

Cable Construction & Applications ▾

The Series 6T design places 24 optical fibers in one PFM™ gel-filled loose buffer tube, supported by two parallel water-blocking dielectric strength members. A 24 AWG copper tracer is embedded in the black UV-resistant flat jacket. The 6T024K101 uses TeraFlex® G.657.A1 bend-resistant singlemode fibers (fiber code K). It is non-armored; the tracer wire does not make the cable steel-armored or all-dielectric.

Applications: Fiber-to-the-premises drops, broadband networks, local loops, aerial drops and direct burial. Manufacturer Series 6T standards include Telcordia GR-20-CORE and RDUP PE-90.
