01 / BUILD YOUR PANEL

Start with the enclosure.
Finish with the right components.

Shop a complete loaded enclosure or select the individual parts for your termination method and fiber count.

Choose a termination method and connection format

Splice incoming cable.

Use matching pigtails, adapters, splice protection, and trays—or a splice cassette that supplies those functions. Loaded assemblies list which components are included.

Connect a terminated cable.

Route the connectorized cable into the enclosure and connect it at the adapter plates. Allow entry clearance for the connectors, strain relief, and protected fiber routing.

Match the housing system.

LGX-style and CCH-style components use their respective enclosure formats. Select plates, cassettes, and trays for the housing’s mounting system and available positions.

Match both sides of the connection.

Choose LC, SC, or the specified connector, together with the required singlemode or multimode fiber. Mate UPC with UPC and APC with APC; the polish must match at each connection.
